FREEDOM FROM PORNOGRAPHY
“I hated what I was doing but at the same time, I felt compelled to visit these sites.”
Lately I had fallen into the sin of pornography. These demons of lust and pornography had plagued my life for two years. I always repented and asked the Lord for forgiveness, and also told the Lord that I would not get back into pornography, but after a couple of days of freedom, I found myself back where I started.
The church that I attend does not preach or teach deliverance. And I so desperately wanted to be delivered like right now. Today after visiting these demonic sites, I asked myself why do I keep on going back to the same sin. There must be something rooted deep inside of me that makes me always want to go back to viewing pornography. I hated what I was doing but at the same time, I felt compelled to visit these sites.
After I succumbed to this temptation, guilt set in. After siting down and asking myself why, I believe the next thing that happened was the Lord prompting me to type in the words on the web browser “deliverance from pornography.” After typing in the words on the browser, the website www.JesusSettingFree.com came up (what a blessing). I filled the prayer request form and ten minutes later Pastor Bob called me and we went through the deliverance prayer over the phone.
As Pastor Bob was praying for me, I felt a cooling sensation in my throat. That sensation I believe was the Power of the Holy Spirit in Pastor Bob driving out those demonic spirits in JESUS name. And they left. Glory to JESUS! Pastor Bob then asked me if I had received the baptism of the HOLY GHOST and I said yes. He then told me to start praying in tongues. The moment I started praying in tongues, my belly started vibrating vigorously.
Even right now as I am typing this testimony, I can still feel the fire of the HOLY SPIRIT inside my body. I know that today JESUS CHRIST has set me free.
After JESUS CHRIST delivered me using Pastor Bob, we started talking about churches not preaching and practicing deliverance. I believe that the deliverance ministry should not be overlooked because JESUS CHRIST himself preached and demonstrated deliverance by casting out demons and healing the sick and delivering all who were oppressed of the devil.
Thank you JESUS for Pastor Bob and the deliverance ministry you have given him. Surely, if the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
